Ivo's fascination with Chinggis Khaan is long-incubated; "As a kid I was fascinated by Ghengis Khan and tried to build a time machine with my brother out of an old pram. It only got us to the end of the street where it flipped over, which resulted in a horrible bleeding mess. One of many in my life. But the dream to ride with Ghengis Khan kept me going so here I come."

Impressive. Ivo had a very Touching the Void climbing experience in the Dolomites aged 16, and aged 12 cycled 1200 miles in 3 weeks with nothing but his best buddy, his pocket money and his Swiss army knife for company. They slept in hay barns. And trashed their bikes.....hope you look after those horses better Ivo!
