Very laid back (that is to say, lazy), shrewd and diligent.

Linda has a remarkable 'cat-like' ability to make herself comfortable pretty much anywhere, which confounds her mother, but which will come in jolly handy on the Mongol Derby.  She has a lifetime of riding experience, much of it enjoyed bareback in the forests, and some of it in Mongolia, making her quite the nomad already.

She is riding the Derby to see if she "has grit".  A noble piece of research, say the Adventurists.
